Access Health CT (AHCT) helps Connecticut residents when and where they need it. We hold different kinds of enrollment events in places where people can get one-on-one help with their applications for health and dental coverage. The best part is that all help is free

Want to check out one of these options? Here’s what you can expect when you visit:

Enrollment Fairs: Enrollment Fairs are held during Open Enrollment. This is where you can get free help with your application from Certified Application Counselors and Certified Brokers. You can also meet your insurance company and get help finding a doctor. Enrollment Fairs are usually hosted on weekday evenings or weekends at different locations across the state. We offer appointments through registration or welcome walk-ins. You can check out all AHCT events here. We may come to your town next!

Enrollment Locations: Enrollment locations are an easy way to get free, in-person help. These locations are our partners in the community that have trained Enrollment Specialists ready to answer your questions. All you need to do is walk in! You can check their hours before you go by clicking here and find the enrollment location that is closest to you. They are usually only available during the Open Enrollment Period on certain days and hours of the week. Please review our Enrollment Checklist so you have what you need to successfully enroll. Also, you’ll want to know what your estimated 2025 household income will be. It will be one of the questions on your application.

Navigators: Navigators are community organizations that partner with AHCT as part of our Navigator Program. You can visit Navigator locations year round for help. When you visit a Navigator, an Enrollment Specialist can answer your questions and explain next steps. Certified Brokers may also be available to help you find a health or dental plan. Hours of operation may vary for each Navigator.

For a full list of events and Navigators, check out our Enrollment Events page. If you have any questions, you can contact our Health Equity & Outreach team at: AHCT.HealthEquity@ct.gov

NOTE: Locations, dates and times are subject to change.

Healthy Chats: Healthy Chats are free Zoom meetings where you can join AHCT live online to learn more about enrolling. The AHCT team also talks about what’s new this year for health and dental plan options. You can also learn about financial help and can even bring your questions to ask at the end. Registration is required to get your Zoom link.

To recap:

  • Walk-ins are welcome at all our Enrollment Fairs and enrollment locations. However, you must make an appointment to visit a Navigator.
  • You can get more information at community events, Healthy Chats, and Navigator locations during the year. During Open Enrollment, we offer in-person enrollment help at Enrollment Events and enrollment locations.
  • Help is available, and all help is free!
