By now you may have seen our Open Enrollment advertisements throughout Connecticut. Maybe you saw a message from Access Health CT (AHCT) on the side of a bus, on flyers posted at a community health center, or even on TV or radio as you watched or listened to your favorite show. We have been doing our best to make sure our messages reach you wherever you are. And we want you to feel good about enrolling (or re-enrolling) in health and/or dental coverage through AHCT.

Here are a few facts on why enrolling in coverage through AHCT may be a good choice for you:

  1. We are the only place you can get financial help for healthcare coverage.
  2. You can choose from health and dental options with a variety of coverage options, deductibles and premiums.
  3. You can use certain health coverage benefits without having to pay your deductible.
  4. We offer enrollment help online, in-person and over the phone.
  5. You can find coverage whether you’re joining us for the first time, re-enrolling with us or replacing your Medicaid/HUSKY Health coverage.

Open Enrollment is going on now and officially ends January 15, 2025. If you want to start using your health and/or dental plan on January 1, 2025, you must enroll by December 15, 2024. If you wait to enroll between December 16, 2024, and January 15, 2025, your coverage will not begin until February 1, 2025.

Some people can enroll in health and/or dental coverage at any time of year. Contact AHCT to see if you qualify. A change in life status may also make you eligible to enroll in health and/or dental coverage through a Special Enrollment Period of generally 60 days. Examples of Qualifying Life Events include moving to Connecticut and certain changes to your household income or size (marriage, divorce or birth).

You can shop, compare, & enroll online, by phone or in-person.

Whether you have questions about your eligibility, comparing plans, or want to see if you qualify for financial help, our team is ready and available to assist you. Remember, all help is free!
